Florescence : Ducks

Jane Dougherty challenged me to write me to write a Florescence about ducks and to keep it clean… what does she mean?

Of Dogs and Ducks!!

The sun was out up in the sky so blue the seen was set. It was calm and warm too. We took the dogs for a walk a gentle stroll with time to talk.

Running jumping scampering free through the grass and under the trees. Over the log through the mud jump through a hedge landing with a thud!

Laughing and at ease we went down to the river’s edge through the trees. The dogs happy to sniff and mooch around as we two humans happy with the little oasis we had found.

The dogs happily eating grass us girls chatting then a lovely treat went sailing past. We could not believe our luck as we watched seven chicks and their mum a Mandarin Duck. Such a seen of peace is rare we stood and watched a happy pair.

Suddenly a man with two dogs wonders by up jumps Monty with a bark and glint in his eye. The man is smiling he knows it is all a lark he knows that Monty is all bark.

Cheerful words we all exchange so nice to feel that you can talk to other people while out on your walk. Without a dog it is not the same  if you dare to speak people wander what is your game.

Time to leave to leave time to go I need to tell my friend I have enjoyed this afternoon so.  This is what life is about , a smile a touch. Away from worries away home nice to feel the weight of troubles have flown.
