Thank you to my blog sister Ritu of But I Smile Anyway for nominating me for this challenge. She knows I love a challenge and I love music.
The rules are:
Post a song a day for five consecutive days.
Post what the lyrics mean to you. (Optional)
Post the name of the song and video.
Nominate 1 or 2 bloggers each day of the challenge.
Today is Day 4 of this 5 day challenge. I do not know which song to choose there are so many clamering for my attention. Thousands of words and musical notes spinning around in my head.
So far I have spent two hours trying to write this post I have literally driven myself mad! so now I am going to either dive in or go mad!
I have been a mum three times,I am a grandma to a beautiful boy and in 3 months I shall be a grandmother again. What am I trying to say I hear you ask. I know I am rambling.
I guess I am saying that if we have children it is our duty to do our very best for them. Love, nurture, cherish and teach them well.
A sentiment beautifully put by Crosby Stills and Nash back in 1970
I nominate Kat of Like Murcury Colliding and Jean of Social Bridge
The words are full of wisdom and love.
Teach Your Children”
You, who are on the road must have a code that you can live by.
And so become yourself because the past is just a good bye.
Teach your children well, their father’s hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams, the one they pick’s the one you’ll know by.
Don’t you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.
