Brittany Day 1

So we were up at the crack of dawn, we took Ruby for a walk around the private gardens at the side of our B&B. Then we went down to breakfast. We left at 8.30 to get to the Eurotunnel port in good time. We arrived, followed the signs, booked in went through passport control. Then we parked in the waiting area and took Ruby for another walk in the exercise area until we were called.

We watched the board we were L, but we were told once J was called we were to proceed to board the train. Very soon we were off.

Its a long drive from the waiting area to the train, we had never done this before so it was nerve wracking and exciting.

Where is that train, how far can it be.

There it is, oh! my goodness it is big.

In we go, breath in.

Up we go.

The view in front.

Then it is time to leave.

Here we are in France and it’s another long drive. We are arrived.

Jump six hours three stops, lunch and a long walk for Ruby, half an hour getting lost we finally arrived at our Gite.

Long walk for Ruby, glass of wine dinner and then relax.

Terza Rima Day 1 Life.

This Month Kat Myrman has suggested a new theme for the daily poem—the Terza Rima, writing one stanza each day.
A terza rima consists of stanzas of three lines (or tercets) usually in iambic pentameter. It follows an interlocking rhyming scheme, or chain rhyme. This is where the middle of each stanza rhymes with the first and last line of the following stanza. There is no set length to this form, as long as it follows

I shall be joining Kat Myrman and Jane Dougherty in this challenge.

Life… A Terza Rima,

I did not ask for this life,

It was alloted to me

I walk daily amid madness and strife.
