You may, if you wish, make some kind of link between the Haiku Challenge prompt of (DUST & Weed). and FATE.
The 2 CHALLENGES are SEPARATE but CAN BE combined if YOU CHOOSE to do so.
Welcome to the Décima Poetry Challenge. Each week we’ll be attempting a Décima, also known as an Espinela, poem.
If you don’t know how to write a Décima, click HERE to go to a post on How to Write an Espinela or Décima Poem.
I have combined my Haiku from Monday with the décima so my words to use are Dust, Weed and Fate.

Who ever said that you own me This worm has learned it’s not too late. To change my life, no slave to fate. You do not own me I am free I am no more your property Nevermore dust under your feet Nor a weed for you to defeat. No more am I your blank canvas Cut and scraped for you to distress. At last I’ve woken, up you see.
Colleen says : Guess what? It’s the first challenge for my favourite month of October… you know what that means! Poets, choose your own syllabic poetry form, theme, words, images, etc. It’s up to you.
NEW RULES: Let’s make this challenge a true poet’s choice! Use any syllabic poetry form that you’d like. As long as there are syllables to count, you’re ready! Be creative. If your form is something new, teach us how to write it. Have fun!
My choice this week is extra special as Colleen has given us free reign as to poetic form. I have chosen to put two together. An Acrostic Nonet.
The contents comes from deep within me. It could be read as a personal relationship, with either another person or thing, or as a lament to nature and our current world troubles.

Autumn Cry.
As always tapped under your control Useless I am no longer whole Tell me how I lost the light Undone I’m caught in flight Morning brings no hope No kindness spoke Cry freedom Real needs Yearn.
Trapped in a box what can she do each day gets worse she is being ripped in two. Trapped in a box not allowed to move, the straps that get always tighter nothing ever improves.
Trapped in a box there is not enough air the walls are ever encroaching she has no space to spare . Tied at her ankles and at her wrists with invisible ropes which burn and cut as they twist.
Trapped in a box poor little girl, or she was until her life started to unfurl. Trapped in a box her life ticking by she has had her wings clipped and she can no longer fly.
Trapped in a box whatever she she tries to do, he will of got there and done it for you. He will do everything that and finish every chore and he will of finished it quicker and better that she ever did before.
Trapped in a box poor thing as I said her wings clipped and no longer allowed to sing. No need to think any more it has all been sorted and done and dusted and what is more it is all done better than she ever did it before. So poor little girl trapped in a box is time to give up and accept your lot?
