Sin and Retribution.

A little bit of fun below. I wrote a Nonet for Colleen Chesebro‘s Weekly Tuesday Tanka, and my very talented friend Jane Doherty wrote me a really smart reply in my comments.

I think it works well as a collaborative poem.

Sin . willowdot21

When it all started there were just two

All sparkly, wonderful and new.

They had eyes for eachother

Such joys to discover

Snake then wriggled in

Try this apple

It’s good, she

Ate, too

Late.

Retribution. Jane Dougherty

Too late.

And so it came to pass

Eve was the one got the brains

her punishment

to be the slave of the

ditherer

the unimaginative

yes man

content in his ignorance.

Collaboration .

Mick E Talbot  has joined with me in a collaboration on Sacha Black’s #writespiration Pyramid.

Pyramid Acrostic Poem

Pharos wanting everlasting life

Yearned to pass from this world of strife.

Regal monarch’s treasure trove

All their worldly goods behove

Minions locked in with them to die

Inturred to starve,no one to hear their cry.

Deadly job inside a Pyramid.

Pharos tombes did belie.
Yes, the truth on how some did die.
Realised when hiroglyphs were deciphered,
Actions that alluded to corruption, inspired
Murderes to conceal their relatives greed.
Invariably to allow them to commit a bad deed
Death hides many secrets, now revealed, freed!

Sun Lights Up October

Bear took some words that  I had  put into a comment, on a beautiful post of hers, and made  the first  verse of the poem  below.

The photo I have used is from her  blog too. Bear has a way with her  camera  and always  catches  magic  and more!

Do  go to  Bear ‘s  page to see her version.

The autumn
Light gently
Reaches through
The trees,
Softly caressing
Our weary hearts
With love
And warmth.

Mother  nature  kisses you and  me

With tender lips  never seen.

A thousand  faces in the wood we cannot see!

Yet the camera catches Ents, Dryads,Loa and  Fairy Queen.
