The Sun and the Ent.
“Oh!” Cried the Sun, “you must let me go”
The glorious Ent shook his head and said “No.”
“Please” cried the Sun her worse fears altered
“No” cooed the Ent “your escape must be averted.”
Weeping the Sun bowed her head
“Please” said the Ent “the moon is already dead.”
The Sun felt her tears turning to steam.
The Ent held her fast, though he wanted to scream.
“Tell me” sobbed the Sun, “why has my brother died?”
The Ent shook his head and said “to save him I tried.”
“Why”asked the Sun “is everything so sad.”
“Because” said the Ent “the world has gone mad.”
