Bad Day Yesterday, Unexpected Visitor Today.

Yesterday was a bad day, I forgot my medication in the morning. That doesn’t sound much  but one pill is gabapentin and it is a neuropathic pain killer. It works on the brain although I have cut down from 12 x300mg a day after my accident  over 7years ago to 1 x300 am and the same pm I am addicted to that small dose .  I can’t believe it either, I can hear you saying she’s joking . I am not. I started iching about 11am. I say itching that’s how it starts then it builds to a feeling of having a thousand creepy crawlies running all over you, honest it feels so real. Then I got irritated really bad tempered, I could not concentrate on anything. I ended up feeling depressed and layed on the sofa watching a box set of the Devil’s Whore for the rest of the day scratching myself raw.

About 4pm I had a thought and went upstairs and looked at my tablets, two out of the four  that I take have the days marked on them. They both still had Wednesday intact ! I knew then I had forgotten to take them.

How could I forget? I had had a late night Tuesday and had woken up late Wednesday morning, 8.30 am and I had not had time to take my tablets because I was due to be at Pilates at 9am!  It was too late to take them at 4pm  so I hung out until 11pm to take the nightly dose. It was too late to take the days blood pressure pill too hey ho I had survived!

I slept very fitfully and today I am washed out but less irritable and itchiness has gone. ☺️

I couldn’t blog yesterday, no concentration you see but I managed some comments. Sorry I couldn’t read any blogs but I shall do my best to catch up.

Today was meant to be a quiet day, dog walk, gym coffee with a friend the hopefully catch up on my blog in the afternoon…...

Husband was taking his mother out shopping and somehow allowed her to bamoozel him into bringing her back for a meal.

I had to leave my friend early to go back and prepare a meal, Toad in the Hole. I am only just sitting down now to try and catch up with your blogs and your comments, not to mention do any Bloging of my own.

Yes I am having a moan! I am not Ritu!

Today  is  Day 20 of Loveuary. I have  had a  horrendous day and  not  feeling  at  all Loveuary!! Anyway  life is  not  always  what  we  would  like  it  to be  so! I  am going  to  mix  two prompts  Flowers  and  Chocolate. Now  to mix it up a  little,  I have  done  an Acrostic  poem spelling  chocolate  But  it is  about flowers?  Okay  I  got  confused  . So a  new poem about  chocolate  flowers….. and  an  old  poem written   about  exploding  flowers.

Chocolate, an  Acrostic  poem  about  flowers!

Exploding  Flowers

I had an exploding tin of flowers ,

It made me feel fine. I would slip out after hours

And watch the flying colours while I drink my wine.

I offered you my flowers I hoped to make you happy too.

Sadly you were allergic and you came out with symptoms like the flu.

I tried to put my exploding flowers back into the tin

It was so very hard to do my patience soon began to wear thin.

All I really wanted was to spread a little fun

But so far I’ve made you feel ill and I have cut my thumb!!

That’s it I have had enough now, they came out so they must go back in,

They wont , they don’t  OH! darn it I’ve had enough they are going in the bin!
