Love Is In Da Blog.

Today “Love Is In Da Blog 2023” Is Rolling In (this year bi-lingual English/German).

Bee is here with her first prompt for this year’s Love is In Da Blog. Here’s what Bee had today : “Hello, Love Is In Da Bloggers; welcome back to another musical, creative and simply lovely February blog event. I can’t wait to dive back in. Thanks to all who have suggested prompts. You rock, and I will give you a shout-out on the day of your prompt.

This year I tried to make this challenge as diverse as I could. I want to challenge you to explore different genres of music, music from other countries and different artists and to follow the reader-suggested prompts. But as always, this is a free challenge. If you do not feel comfortable with a prompt, choose your own. As long as it is loosely connected with Love. 🙂

Here is today’s traditional prompt for the first day of “Love Is In Da Blog”:

Choose your own!

Well hi Bee and hi everyone! Today I am going with love of life and everything it encompasses. I have chosen the great and talent Sam Ryder. I have chosem More it’s a beautiful song and it’s written by Sam who is a talented song writer as well as singer and musician.

Please enjoy!

Thank you Bee 🐝💜

Nature knows to accept age with good grace, nothing stops time’s pace.
Trees ignore wrinkles in their bark, happy to hear a song lark.
We’d learn from nature, she has the measure of the universe.

When we are young we rush and race.
No time to watch the flowers grow
Or count raindrops as down they flow.
Everything was done at fast
pace
We had style and we had such grace.
Then as we age we slow right down .
Our efforts to catch time a frown
You’d think that over time we’d learn
But no we simply crash and burn
We try to fly but slowly drown.

Breathless

Would  you  stop if I asked  you to

If I pleaded  what  would  you  do

Would  you  stay  a moment  longer

If offered  could my love  make  you  stronger.

Could  I  slow  your path, stop  the ravishes of  time.

If  I  showed  you love  sublime.

Would I holt  your advance in any  tiny  way

Could I  cheat death  and  make  you  stay.

If my  tears  that fall upon  your face

Could chase off death, make it  leave in disgace.

I would  hold my  breath  for eternity

If it  meant  you  would stay  with me.

I  dedicate  this post  to  A post from Charli Mills asks about breathless moments. I read  Geoff’s  beatiful  post  Take My Breath  Away  and  felt  moved  to  write one  too.

Laughter Lines

Not me, but see her beauty

You  see  the  wrinkles and  lines I wear them  with pride

At  first I did  not  want  them  and  did  my  best  to hide

Each  new  line, until I realized that  they told  a tale.

My life  everything I  have done  win  or  fail.

Beauty is  but  skin deep  your actions  are  your  light

How  you  treat  each person  you meet. If  you treat them  right

You  grow, your  soul blossoms  and  beauty  shines out of  you

Do  as  you would  be done  by  I was told , and it  is  true.

Yes  I make  the best  of  what I have   but  I don’t  wast time

Wishing  I was young  and  lithe. I am what I am , what you see is mine.

Youth is  fleeting  so is beauty, what use  is  all that  with out love

To be  loved  and to  love is  the greatest gift  from above.

You  see  the  wrinkles and  lines I wear them  with pride

At  first I did  not  want  them  and  did  my  best  to hide

Each  new  line, until I realized that  they told  a tale.

My life  everything I  have done  win  or  fail.
