Oneliner Wednesday: Miscomunication.

Stolen  from  Geoffle  at  TanGental

‘That’s exciting. How did he get the tickets. ‘ ‘He has debentures.’ ‘Really that’s so sad. He’s young to get Alzheimers isn’t he?’

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sorry  Geoff  but I laughed  until I cried!
Here is  the  hashtag  #1linerWeds!
As with Stream of Consciousness Saturday (SoCS), if you see a ping back from someone else in my comment section, click and have a read. It’s bound to be short and sweet.
Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”
2. Make it either funny or inspirational.
3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds!
4. Have fun!
Sleep Walking.
Soaking up the last rays of the sun, the soft feel of the sand between my toes memories of so much fun.
Children’s laughter and cries echo in my head I drift along the sandy shore drinking in the colours of the skies.  Wading birds skim the waves as my heart lifts and flies.
Suddenly I am young again  my body small and lithe  running  jumping on the shore and skimming stones  on the waves watching the turning tide.
I don’t know what the future may hold.  I am not brave and very scared of loosing my friends and growing old. Things were so much easier then I didn’t have to try, I’d flash my eyes and toss my hair and watched all the sparks fly.
The wind is getting up now I feel it at my back I turn and look around for all the loved ones I now lack. Why am I out here why am I on my own where my friends and family where have my children flown.
Suddenly I am frightened  suddenly I am cold there is no one else out here my nerves begin to jangle and my knees begin to fold.
Suddenly I am shaking , then a gentle voice says to me “are sleeping Mum or are you going to join us for for a walk, with us all, along the sea!
