Daily Prompt – JusJoJan the 9th, 2020. Scrumptious.

It’s Thursday, and time for the 9th Prompt for Just Jot it January 2020! Today’s word was given to us by Maggie at From Cave Walls. Thank you so much, Maggie! Please be sure to visit her blog to read her post and say hello. And follow her while you’re there!.

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 9th, 2020, is “scrumptious.” Use the word “scrumptious” any way you’d like. Have fun!

Scrumptious Acrostic

Sexily eyeing her up

Creepily watching her sup

Relishing her every move

Unrequieted love gets him in the grove

Maybe he should stand up and say

Proclaim his feelings, seize the day

Tasty as she is, she is only human

Intense as he feels he can

Only lay his heart bare

Unaccustomed to truth will he dare.

Say she is scrumptious, and he loves her.

💜💜💜

Now back in January 2018 we had the prompt Scrumptious from Judy Martin , I wrote that poem about food! You can read it here.

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS June 1/19

LindaGHill said: “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “silent/silence.” Use one or both in your post. Have fun!”

This is part of #SoCs.

Silence : Acrostic Poem

Silence is golden, it can cut you like a knife.

It can be your down fall or even save your life.

Listening to silence can be the hardest thing to

Earsplitting silence can easily deafen you.

No silent exit , leave on a note of discord

Cover your ears to soundless applause.

Earth shattering peace, like all things has its flaws.

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Feb. 2/19

Today’s prompt for SoCs is a bit different, as it doesn’t come from LindaGHill. Instead it was a suggestion by M. Oniker during Just Jot it January. She actually has a blog dedicated to SoCS posts! You can find her last post here. Drop by and say hi!

Our Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “Affirm.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!

An Acrostic poem .

To affirm, to assert, attest to . Proclaim, swear to be honest it all smacks of going to court. To avow to the truth, testify, bear witness.

Righteous testimonials,

Men bear witness to.

Testify.

Tell the truth for God’s

Eyes are always upon you

Simply Testify

The best way is honesty

Indeed in thought testify

For then you will own

Your immortal soul.

Sue Vincent’s Thursday Photo Prompt. Ascent

Sue’s #WritePhoto Prompt this week:

I have always feared being a lost soul, trapped in the spot where I had died. So I have written an Acrostic Poem about the moment such a soul is finally released. I pray that all souls are released.

Ascent.

Ailing soul lost in pain

Suffer no more

Climb the stairs your freedom to gain

Eternity is beyond the door

No more purgatory for you

It’s your turn to fly

Take your chance, start anew

Your time for Ascent is nigh.

Stream of Consciousness Saturday. Letters

This week Linda of A Life In Progress has given us the word Letter as our #SoCs prompt. Rules and Pingback here.

I used to love writing letters but even more I loved receiving them. Sadly nowadays the art of letter writing is dying, we are all too dependant on electronic mail and communication.

Acrostic Poem Letter

Long distances made smaller

Email or a mobile caller

Time was we only had paper and pens

To cross the miles between friends

Every letter on the page

Really spoke of love, news, even rage.

Happy Mother’s Day.

Good Morning, afternoon or even goodnight , where ever you are and whoever you are if you are celebrating Mother’s Day I send you my love and sisterhood! It is Mother’s Day here in the UK . So I am sending a message out to everyone, love your mother’s every day and mothers love your children.

The photo below is my mum who I truly miss.

Mother Love Acrostic Poem

Mother love is selfless and deeper than an

Ocean, boundless and undemanding always

There when you need it. No judgement or side taken

However far or expensive to pocket or heart. Love is

Everlasting, open handed and without question.

Ready always to be sweep in and scoop you up .

Loyal and true always at the end of a phone

Open minded to your problems never judging or

Vengeful unless called to be on your behalf

Even though you may not deserve it, it’s there Mother Love.

Stream of Consciousness 10/3/2018

This post is for Stream of Consciousness Saturday. This week the prompt from LindaGHill of Life in Progress is : So far, use it as you like but have fun.

I have done an Acrostic Poem about the dawn, or life which ever way you read it. 💜

SO FAR

So far theres not been too much light

Only now as dawn prepares to fight.

Faint rays of hope break the cloud.

Awakening the dawn chorus loud.

Renewal is so near yet so far.
