Rules and Pingback Here

Dawn arrives I walk out on the breakwater. In front deep water behind  a shallow lido. I have been gone for days no one’s missed me. For some reason I leave my mobile on the rocks.

I step forward to oblivion and peace, as I sink beneath the waves my phone rings.

                 The Devil of a call.

How did she do it nobody knew

Living so long not giving in.

No spring chicken that’s true

Her hold on life taught as her skin.

Then as she slept the sleep of the just.

The phone rang and woke her up

Beelzebub here darling remember our deal you must.

Oh! Shit.

Can you cope with five children eight to thirteen and one on the way. No fridge, washing machine or car? Can you be nurse, teacher, best friend? Can you raise and  marry off these six and do it all on a shoestring. Your reward?  Undying love and gratitude even when  you’re gone.

Writespiration #110 52 Weeks in 52 Words Week 14

Writespiration inspired by Sacha Black

This week’s challenge is:

Write about the girl that wore the black hood.

Oh! She was so sick of being compared to her, prettier, clever, kinder and so popular sister. She had lived in her shadow for so long that she almost got used to being always overlooked.
Well not today she had payed that wolf dearly. At last Red was getting her just desserts.

writespiration-2017

Every day he walks his dog
In his mean uncaring way.
He pulls the the lead so tight
He hurts his dog, poor mite.

Today is very foggy
Here he comes with
His poor hard done by doggy.
A wire at the height of the man’s throat
OH! dear will he choke?
