A Day In The Life of a pair of shoes.

Bloody  hell it was cold in that suitcase. Where on earth  are we? We don’t usually come out until June, it’s only November. Hang on it’s warm, hot even. Look she has had her toes painted, and the nails too and those  little gems. Yes!  Woohoo That means it is  Holiday time.

Writespiration,52-weeks-in-52-words-week-42.

This week the Beautiful and Talented Sacha Black has given us a Halloween prompt for her #writespiration challenge. Yes this week we have to write about a character that is absolutely terrified. In 52 words no more no less.

How can I get out of here, the door is open but my legs are shaking. I don’t have long, but I just can’t move. Slowly, every inch of my body shaking I crawl to the door. He is there whip in hand. I wet myself again. It will not go unpunished.

Writespiration #128,52 Weeks in 52 Words, Week 33.

This week our task master Sacha Black has challenged us to write a story in 52 Words no more no less, using the prompt The Persistent Dog.

I have gone for the literal  here as  our Ruby is a lovable persistent dog. At the moment she is sporting blue boots when go out and a soft cone of shame for when we cannot watch her due to poorly Paw.

This is part  of 52weeks 52 Words Rules and Pingback here.

Writespiration #126 52 Weeks in 52 Words Week 31

This week our boss lady Sacha Black has given us a really tough prompt for our 52 Words in 52 Weeks #writespiration.

This week’s prompt is:  The school trip that went wrong.

Rules and Pingback Here

I hated school, the nuns, my peers. Why, because I was bullied. I did make  a life long friendship there though and had one other nice friend but most of the time it was hell… So I have blanked most of my school memories so this will be a work of fiction!

              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No one expects half a school to return from a trip looking quite so frazzled. They were all completely subdued. They all filed off of the coach silent and dishevelled.
The teachers were in the same state. Not a word was said about the trip,ever! However much friends and family enquired.
Writespiration #125 52 Weeks in 52 Words, Week 30.
Our overworked Sacha Black said “Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less. #Writespiration
The Prompt this week is Pie.
Every time she cooked a pie he said “what’s this, shit pie?” She was sick of it, sick of him!
So this week she prepared dinner carefully. Mash, cabbage, peas then she put the pie on the table He opened his mouth and froze, the words emblazoned  on the pastry “SHIT PIE.”
It’s not easy being Death. People  don’t warm to me. I can clear a room in seconds at a party! It might be my clothes, I can look a tad goth but black’s always stylish.
It’s so hurtful when you guys don’t want to accompany me. I am just doing my job.
They hid the necklace inside me before they left. It was all they had. They took what they could,touched my walls and promised to return. The men in boots came and ripped me appart. They never found the necklace I kept it safe. I still have it. I still await their return.
Writespiration#116 52 Words 52 Weeks. Week 20.
Is Sacha Black going soft on us ? This week’s #writespiration2017 is to write a post of exactly 52 words is simply to Start with the words : It Stared at me… Well is she, we will see!
Rules and Pingback here
It stared at me…..
It held my gaze, it’s pain was palpable and I could feel it. Slowly I raised my hand and touched the glass and waited. After an absolute age it copied me and we touched through the window. Tears coursed down my face as it’s hand slid down the glass. It had died.
Writespiration#113 52 Weeks in 52 Words.Week 17
For this week’s #writespiration  from the wicked genius that is  Sacha Black  the prompt is:
Why hadn’t I taken note. Her message was clear! Don’t take that route it’s not safe. She couldn’t of made  more effort to warn but, no, as  ever I was right.
So here I am crumpled in this  muddy ditch. She is up on the road barking. Damn the bitch was right.
Backwards he landed in the midwife’s hands. The light hit his eyes as he escaped the tight dark channel. The struggling went on for hours  he felt that he just had to move or choke. He awoke from his sleep to find his safe place was actually trying to push him out.
