Three Things Challenge #240

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
For those of you unfamiliar with the challenge, every day Pensitivity101 lists three things that may, or may not, be related.
You don’t have to use them all if you don’t want to, simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you. There are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use the 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and the logo if you wish.

Today’s things are Tools, Wood, Job.…..

He always said give me the tools and wood and I’ll fix the job. Funnily he did, right to the end. At the funeral everyone marvelled at the exquisite coffin.

This burst the bubble

The disbelief was double

These two meant trouble.

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.

Mike was busy setting up for Immie, he had his headphones on and could hear her voice. He turned the knobs to clean out the background noise. He was absolutely starving, lunch time he thought. He opened his backpack and grabbed his lunch ate it quickly. As he finished he threw the wrappers in the trash. Back to work he thought, humming along.

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.

It’s Thursday, the eerie, silent evening is broken, the noise is deafening! We all have our lights on, doors and windows open and we are cheering for the NHS and all Keyworkers! THANK YOU!

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.

The twins were identical to look at. Tempramentally though they were chalk and cheese. Their parents had a real job on their hands, they were a nightmare to handle.

When the girls got to seven years they both showed a great interest in music. They were each bought a violin, they learnt to play and were both exstremely talented. Music was the only thing the the girls could agree about and even that could become competitive!

They became professionals when they grew up they always played together. The only way to tell them apart was the violins, Vanessa’s violin was acoustic and May’s was electric and so had a wire!

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.

Duck shouted Desmond, as the fists started to fly, tables and chairs were pushed out of the way as the brawl took hold.

The police were quickly on the scene and waded in slowly restoring order.

Meanwhile across the road in the bank , Desmond’s brothers casually made off with the bootee.

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.

It’s war out there, each man woman and child for themselves. Except it’s not war is it this is a time we should all be pulling together.

Trina approached work with the rising panic she had felt all this month. As she tapped in the entry code on back door pad she checked behind her to make sure no one was watching. Entering the warehouse she was relieved to see all her co workers there. “Hi, Trina are you ready for another day of panic buying fun? ” It was Tom the shop manager, a say shop was an understatement it was infact a superstore.

Trina laughed wryly “Fun, really , I wouldn’t call it fun. Not after that woman threw a punch yesterday and it all went south! It took SCO 19 an hour to sort out the pandemonium. ”

Ten minutes later in her Waitrose uniform and stab jacket Trina walked up the shop floor to the customer service desk, dodging customers and goods alike.

Your three things today are: STABLE BOLT FOOT

Dave took aim with his crossbow. This was an easy shot, he held the bow stable and released the bolt. Sadly the pressure of the competition got to him and the bolt went wide of the mark and embedded itself in the foot of the tree.

Your three things today are:

UNRULY
QUICK
BRUSH

At seventeen it was Jim’s first brush with the Law. The lads he hung about with were very unruly! The had all been dancing on car bonnets and roofs when the police car arrived. Everyone legged it, Jim was not quick enough and he was hauled off to the station.

After a long wait and a sharp warning he was let go. Luckily for Jim he was a quick learner. He is now a Detective Sargent and on his way up.

When he was in uniform he was not above making sure unruly lads got the benefit of the doubt. But nothing ever got brushed under the carpet.

They had been full of concern at the start, checking in on her daily. Did she need shopping, come to Sunday dinner, helping with odd jobs. Finally they lost interest as most people do. They left her alone to her memories… She was not unhappy.
