Love Is In Da Blog 2023.”

Bee Halton is here again with our prompt for Love Is In Da Blog she said: “Hello, Love Is In Da Bloggers; it is so good to have you here. I appreciate you taking on the challenges of “Love Is In Da Blog 2023”. You truly rock! And thanks for taking a stand yesterday for peace on this lovely planet.

Today’s prompt comes thanks to Di from “Pensitivity101“. Her blog is a constant inspiration with tales from her life, blogging prompts and challenges. Please, put her on your daily blog reading list if you haven’t done so yet. So Do choice of prompt is A Love Song specific to you and your spouse (or significant other, may it be human or in any other form .

Well here is hubbys favourite song , which also happens to be a firm favourite of mine. It has many memories for us and so this is our song 💜

While My Guitar Gently Weeps” is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1968 double album The Beatles (also known as “the White Album”). It was written by George Harrison, the band’s lead guitarist. Harrison wrote “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” as an exercise in randomness inspired by the Chinese I Ching. The song conveys his dismay at the world’s unrealised potential for universal love, which he refers to as “the love there that’s sleeping”.

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Feb. 4, 2023

Badge by Shelley Krupa..

LindaGHill banged on my front day, then shouted through the letter box. ” It’s Friday! And I’m back with your regular Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt. I admit I feel a bit lost already, not having posted yesterday. I should blog more … Anyway, here’s your prompt

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “perfection.’” Use it any way you like. Enjoy!

Perfection

We all strive for it but really it does not exist. We all just need to accept that nothing is perfect. We can waste vast swaths of our lives striving for it.
If we just accept this we can all be happy with near perfection.

Life gives us what it sees fit
I am happy with my lot
I’ve learnt not to hair split
To be blessed with what I have got.
Near perfection is enough for me
Life’s imperfect, realising this is key.

PART OF LINDAGHILL’S STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS SATURDAY.
