The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Sept. 3, 2022

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “start with why.” Begin your post with the word “why.” Have fun!

I went deep into my darkside for this one.

Why am I so angry why am I so low
You’re driving me to distraction, why? I do not know.
Always putting everyone else first, but not me.
Always pardoning others for reasons I can’t see.
If I try to tell you to let them take their turns
You round on me and give that look that burns.
I’m sick of being wrong, having to zip my mouth.
Why not put me first, why?

I am glad it is only a poem 🙂 But life must be difficult for people with such thoughts within them. Well written.

Good to let the darkness out so it doesn’t consume us.
    Sending love and light.
