Awash, I am awash, scared of drowning, please throw me a line.
Feelings of fear and insecurity wash over me and I am sinking. I am caught in a whirlpool of hurt. I am afraid of my own shadow.
I see dismissal in every look a snub here a blank there.
I feel darkness creeping back washing over me I am awash with hopelessness.
