“Contrary to many people’s fear” Those five words always cause me to stress out. So I was not best pleased when they were the words I read from the book hubby is reading. Now that is a thing in itself because Hubby is not a reader and he would rather listen to the radio or watch TV.
I was sceptical when his old friend came round with the book for him to read. I even said, “He will never read that , he doesn’t read books” well he doesn’t. The book is called Dear Life and is written by Rachel Clarke
So back to my fear of “Contrary to many people’s fear” whenever a sentence starts with that I see trouble brewing.
“Contrary to many people’s fear” the petrol prices will drop soon… Really?
“Contrary to many people’s fear“….. utility prices will stabilize, Really?
“Contrary to many people’s fear” the war in Ukraine will end soon… Really?
“Contrary to many people’s fear” the NHS is not on the verge of collapse…Really?
“Contrary to many people’s fear” global warming is not real…. Really????
I could go on but it’s too depressing so ,” Contrary to many people’s fear” this is not going to be a long drawn out and repetitive post. I am done now.
