You are so tired your pain is tangible it breaks my heart to see you struggling. You are so brave you insist on your walk no matter how it makes you suffer. Your breathing is so laboured as you walk, well wobble, you limp on all four legs. Your wound still weeps as I do as I watch you. We both hide our pain as we know your Daddy is denying your struggles…he knows but it’s unspoken. You may have weeks, months or days I just pray you are happy.
As you sleep do you dream of youth? Puppy play and training to assist. No rest, training starts young in truth So much expected of you the heaven kissed. You served, you worked , we gave you play. We loved you from afar until the day You came to live with us We hope you have enjoyed your retirement A princess among dogs we love you Our children and their children love you too.

Apart from the fact I love this song and video I don’t know much background to it. I love the story of the boy and girl going their separate ways but their paths cross until in the end they become a couple , if you love them set them free.
So my first song is about Feet as in Now my feet won’t touch the ground, written by Coldplay (Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin), it is track 8 on Prospekt’s March which is the seventh EP by British rock band Coldplay and their first since Remixes (2003). It came out on 21 November 2008 in Europe and Japan, enjoying a worldwide release during the following week. The EP features several left-over tracks from the Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends studio sessions and was also made available in the album’s deluxe edition .

Let me go boys, let me go Push my bone from the highest cliff to the sea below Rocks are waiting boys, rocks are waiting Swoop down from the sky and catch me like the bird to prey
Now my feet won’t touch the ground Now my head won’t stop You wait a lifetime to be found Now my feet won’t touch the ground
Singing now my feet won’t touch the ground Now my head won’t stop You wait a lifetime to be found Now my feet won’t touch the ground
Crocodile Shoes is a British 13-part television drama set across two series and was made by the BBC. It was screened on BBC1 in 1994 (Series 1) and in 1996 (Series 2).
The first series, comprising seven episodes, was written by and starred Jimmy Nail as a factory worker who becomes a country and western singer. The show’s eponymous theme tune “Crocodile Shoes” became a chart hit for Nail, as did the album of the same name.
A sequel, comprising six episodes, Crocodile Shoes II, followed in 1996 and the theme tune “Country Boy” was a hit for Nail too.
Paddy McAloon of Prefab Sprout supplied five original songs to the two series, all of them recorded by Jimmy Nail.
The series was re-screened on UK channel, Drama, in February 2016.

Now for socks! “Eleanor Rigby” is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album Revolver. It was also issued on a double A-side single, paired with “Yellow Submarine“. The song was written primarily by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney “Eleanor Rigby” continued the transformation of the Beatles from a mainly rock and roll– and pop-oriented act to a more experimental, studio-based band. With a double string quartet arrangement by George Martin and lyrics providing a narrative on loneliness, it broke sharply with popular music conventions, both musically and lyrically. The song topped singles charts in Australia, Belgium, Canada and New Zealand.
My favourite version is not by the Beatles though it’s by Cody Fry. Cody Fry is a Grammy-nominated American singer, songwriter, composer and producer based in Nashville.Cody Fry.
Cody Fry is the son of orchestral composer Gary Fry. He graduated from New Trier High School in 2008 and then moved to Nashville to study voice at Belmont University.
In 2021, his song “I Hear a Symphony” went viral on TikTok. The same year, his cover of “Eleanor Rigby” was nominated for a Grammy in the category of “Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals”.

Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby Picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been Lives in a dream Waits at the window Wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door Who is it for?
All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong?
Father McKenzie Writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear No one comes near Look at him working Darning his socks in the night when there’s nobody there What does he care?
All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby Died in the church and was buried along with her name Nobody came Father McKenzie Wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave No one was saved
All the lonely people (ah, look at all the lonely people) Where do they all come from? All the lonely people (ah, look at all the lonely people) Where do they all belong?
