One-Liner Wednesday – Love and Compassion.

“Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love and loyalty. They depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog; it merely expands the heart. If you have loved many dogs, your heart is very big.”

Erica Jong.

True, it is special to own a dog, they show such loyalty and we need to do the same in return. I won’t ever forget my first dog, he held such a special place in my heart.

I so agree. Dogs make their own place in our hearts….. none are pushed out or squashed in, our heart just expands.

What a lovely perspective. As someone with two doggos who are approaching eleven and who’s loved three other dogs in my life I feel like each one has taught me to be a better person. 💛
