This week’s form:

Tanka Prose.

I sit and watch her as she sleeps. She’s so tired these days age has taken it’s toll. I really am so grateful to her though the loyalty and love she shows me is far beyond wealth. She would follow me to the ends of the earth and truly so would I her.
Oh! She’s stirring now, bless her first action is to look for me.

love is her nature
devotion is her default

she’s my staff and stay
full of dreams of youth and play
she lightens my load always.

The best I could wish for her would be that she drifts away in her sleep, dreaming of you xxx

Beautiful, dogs are so loyal. I wouldn’t be without my German Shephard, Rottweiler mix. He is not my first dog. My first was a mongrel, whose dad happened to be a white German Shephard.

See, this is beautiful! The only think you should remember is that Japanese poetry doesn’t rhyme. But sometimes that happens, I know. ❤

Beautiful, Willow. I love the picture:) I have a senior dog who can’t chase bears anymore but never lets me out of her sight!
