The dance of life.

Always put your best foot forward.
Set your pace to life’s new tempo.
Like a dance be it fast or slow
There is so much to be explored.
Skip and twirl to gain your reward.
This is not a practice, so move!
Keep on your toes, keep in the groove.
Step up, the beat is on the rise
Don’t get left behind as time flies.
This dance of life’s. made to sooth.

This is part of Ronovanwrite’s Weekly Décima Challenge.

A Love Song from February 1962 and new prompt: A Very Random Challenge ~ Love Is In Da Blog 2022.

Today Bee would like us to pick a love song from 1962. Well one of my favourite songs from that year ( I was nine then) was by the Every Brothers.

Crying in the Rain” is a song composed by Carole King with lyrics by Howard Greenfield, originally recorded by American duo the Everly Brothers. The single peaked at number six on the US Billboard Hot 100  in February 1962.

The song was the only collaboration between songwriters Greenfield and King, both of whom worked for Aldon Music at the time of the song’s composition. On a whim, two Aldon songwriting partnerships decided to switch partners for a day – Gerry Goffin (who normally worked with King) partnered with Greenfield’s frequent writing partner, Jack Keller, leaving King and Greenfield to pair up for the day. Despite the commercial success of their collaboration, King and Greenfield never wrote another song together. Info from Wiki.

“A Love Song, that isn’t a Love Song, but you think it’s a Love Song and new prompt: A Very Random Challenge ~ Love Is In Da Blog 2022 .

Oh! I am still running late this one is a day late! Bee asked up to chose a love song that is not a love song. Well my favourite singer, songwriter and musician Imogen Heap has a real beauty. Say goodnight and go . On first listen is a cutsy love song but once you listen to the lyrics it about unrequited love and the girl then turns into a stalker!
