“Woa! What on earth are these doing here” Morgarna asked Morgause. They had landed just down from Camalot and were startled to find a string of fairy lights and two decorative deer the type found in 21st century shopping malls certainly not in the court of King Arthur.
“Don’t look at me like that Sis it’s nothing to do with me, I hold my hands up to the iPhone but not this!” Morgause said with a self-righteous pout!
Morgarna looked her sister in the eye and a blue light passed between them , “okay I believe you ” Morgarna said.
Just then the Anomaly appeared, “Quick Sis help me get these decorations through the anomaly Merlin can deal with them!”
The two of them heaved the decorative reindeer and string of lights into the anomaly.
Of a sudden the things looked more like Arthurian England than seconds before.
Morgarna and Morgause made their way towards the castle…in the dark.

As they entered the great hall the two sisters felt a huge feeling of homecoming wash over them both. The bustle the warmth and the familiar faces, they both disguised themselves to be accepted yet invisible.

“You see if any of the servants saw the decorations and I check this drunken lot up here stuffing their faces! ” Morgause said picking up a goblet of wine and heading for the top table. “Will do” replied Morgarna as she took an empty wooden platter and headed towards the kitchen.
Hours later while the castle slept Morgarna and Morgause stood in the dell and looked up to their former home. The place they had lived their original life before they had become immortal and their travels and adventures had begun.
“I still miss these times even after all we have experienced this is home” Morgarna said to her sister. Who nodded in agreement… Then fell flat on her bottom!
“What happened there Morga, too much wine” giggled Morgarna.
” I tripped on this stone, hang on it’s not a stone it’s a Christmas decoration …. With a note attached “
“What does it say” Morgarna asked.
Morgause rolled her eyes , “it says Merlin was here”
“Well sis that solves the mystery of the battery operated flashing reindeer in Camelot”
Just then the Anomaly arrived, “Jump” shouted Morgarna “and bring the note and bauble with you!”
They girls both landed back at the lab amidst a host of Christmas finery and Merlin holding out two large drink to them !

Home from Vetinary Hospital, after a traumatic month of shocks and operations. Fingers crossed cancer cut out, there is a lot of nursing to do but she deserves the best. There is some concern that the skin flap the Surgeons used to close the wound might necrotise but hubby and I will do our best to prevent this. Stitches out in 2/3 weeks.

Ruby says thank you everyone for sending her love and good wishes.💜💜💜

Charity

Seasons greetings to one and all.
A cup of cheer and food that is rich.
It Christmastide so throw the switch.
Celebrate go on have a ball
Sod those who have nothing at all.
Homeless people on the cold street
Spare them a thought give them a treat
Charity may begin at home
They need our help out there alone.
Help them, it’s not such a great feat.

I do  not  know  who  this  man is but  I have used his  face more  than once when  writing  about  compassion. There  is  something  in his  eyes that  reach out  telling  his  story pain, grief  rejection it is  all there!

I used  his  face  last  at Christmas while I was  talking  about  Crisis at Christmas .  Crisis is  the National Charity  for single  hopeless people. They  are dedicated  to  helping  people  and  giving  them a chane  to change  their life’s for the better, to give  them hope.

The  Charity  works  all year  round of  course  but  they  also do  Crisis at Christmas.  Volunteers spend a  fortnight  cooking, providing  a  warm place  to stay  for those  lost and lonely people. They  give  them new  clothes, a  hair cut   and  also help  them  to change  their  lives if  they  want  to. They  help  with  finding somewhere  to live  or a job  interview .

They  show  real  compassion  they  help  and  they are unpaid and  they  really  make  a  difference.

We are stuffed

This world has truly had enough
There’s no coming back from the edge.
We’re gone too far out on the ledge.
The rich just take and hoard their stuff
The rest of us just take the rough.
Where is the kindness, where’s the care
Rich live off the poor, that’s not fair.
Earth is tired of us parasites
Rich or poor to her we’re just mites.
Injustice just too much to bear.
