His demeanor is so sunny
He stands proud on his last hoorah!
Knowing he’s spread his seeds afar.
Across meadows just like honey.
From lawns they want him gone, funny.
Sparks memories of days of old.
Blowing fairy wishes untold.
A green and yellow dandy he
Such a glorious sight to see.
He’s such a delight to behold
If we were having coffee , every Sunday

Oh, I do enjoy dandelions (and Dandy Lions), but I wish they’d grow in empty fields and not my lawn.:-)

This reminds me of a seasonally mown prairie which is part of the forest preserve that is sometimes covered with beautiful dandelions.
