Apparently today was World Chocolate Day.

Death by Chocolate.

Warm and soothing as it covers me whole,
Erasing my mind and stealing my soul.
Happily drowning enjoying my fate
Better than sex all my yearnings sate.
Finding every crack and crevice of me.
Filling me up , seeping in, tightening, sealing my skin
So I am no longer free.
They warned me, told me to take care
I just ignored them, I’m drowning laid bare.
Little did I know when that menu read
Death by Chocolate, it meant what it said!

Hope you had a chocolaty day

Just finished eating a small piece so the memory was still enveloping me as I read this. Sounds like a way to go! Great poem!

Chocolate for women, beer for men.

If I’m going to gain weight, it’s not going to be via cheap chocolate. Except for Publix Black Jack Cherry icecream (with dark chocolate chips). 😊
