Please throw those boots away. My hubby also learnt a hard lesson by slipping twice on black ice many many years ago but refused to throw the boots. Later he did as he experienced another fall. Take care and recover soon.

I fell at hubby’s feet on Sunday night! I have some beloved boots that are too big for me! I refused to throw them away..
Then I tripped on an uneven paving stone and just could not save myself..
Boots now in the bin!!! πŸ’œπŸ’œ

Bummer Willow. Hubby fell at mine by falling out of the attic………….. all so as not to put a shelf up! Seriously, the brackets failed on the ladder and he fell, cutting his arm down to the bone. I;d just passed my first aid at work certificate, so had immediate practice! I got him to A&E in about ten minutes. Barney was brilliant and kept out of the way, bless him.
        Hope you are feeling better.
