#writephoto. Table.

KL Caley at Novel Ideas has offered to take on Sue Vincent’s #writephoto as a weekly challenge now it has become too difficult for Sue to continue

For visually challenged writersthe image shows a white table in a woodland with 9 chairs. The bottom of the table is the largest chair, each chair gradually gets smaller and smaller until you get to a tiny child’s chair at the top/head of the table.

Top of the table by KL Caley.

The Rule of Six.

The rule of six, yes the rule of six. We fit that now, this time last year we did not. Apparently the grandchildren don’t count because they are too young. Nor Ruby she is a dog.

So we now fit the rule of six, three sons, one daughter in law and us, two beautiful grandsons and Ruby the dog.

….Okay so why nine chairs… Oh! That is in honour of Ivy. The Covid took her last year just after her 100th birthday. She loved a party, loved to be the centre of attention.

© willowdit21. Yes that’s a whiskey.

So now whatever the rule, one, six, ten whatever she will be there always in our hearts at the centre of the table.

This is part of K. L. Caley’s # write photo.

With love to Sue.

Ivy was beautiful! And still is beautiful, I’m sure, in your memories.
