Heart on my sleeve.

This is me here I stand,

You’ve taken my heart and crushed it in your hand.

Your words hurt they beat me down.

With a smile you watch me drown.

In my blood you see me thrash,

Laying bets to when I’ll crash!

Beat me, slap me with your words

My mouth is taped, so my screams can’t be heard.

Cut me carve me it is nothing I have not done before .

Lost and wrecked on emotion’s shore.

Abuse me use me sate your need

Throw me off like an unwanted weed.

See my heart it’s wrent it in two

See it there on my sleeve for you.

No pride left I let it bleed dry

You don’t see the need within my eye.

There is not much more I can do

You tample on my soul, it’s black and blue

I stand here screaming silently

Bleeding need and blood constantly.

Hit me kick me just don’t look at my face,

No matter how hard I tried I’ve lost this race.

Here it comes the huge and vicious mouth

I can’t take any more I fall and stumble south.

Damn you damn you what can I do

To get respect or love from you.

Love okay it’s too late

Sorry, will  not compensate

Willow, what a sad poem. It’s beautifully written, but how horrible to be in this position.

Thank you Betty it’s so sad that so many, male and female suffer. The lockdowns aggravates the problem. 💜

Willow, I’m happy you’re well, and glad to hear you’re vaccinated! My husband had both shots…I’m still waiting. (They’re short on vaccine at my clinic. Hopefully soon.) Continued chronic all-over pain here but otherwise okay. 😊Am just happy spring is coming! 🌷
