Spics and Specks.
I need my specks to see where I am going, I also need my specks to see the specks of dust, on the table, lit up by the light coming through the window. .
I look out of said window and see specks on the horizon, are they birds, cars, planes or people or just specs of dust…I can’t tell because I need my specs to see!

Ready half cocked
In a state of waiting
Geared up
Going to be fired
Engaged, finger poised
Ready to pull the trigger.
