Hawk
Moved in
Spiralling
Towards his pray
Mouse faced up to him.
Their eyes met silently
The rodent knew the cycle
Of life and the part would play
Straightening his shoulders he stood true.
Hawk extended his talons took his due

I have written an Etheree using synonyms for the prompt words.
