Song Lyric Sunday. Elementary.

It’s Sunday and time for Jim Adams to set us a prompt for Song Lyric Sunday. July 12, 2020 – Air/Earth/Fire/Water.

No doubt, I just went for the obvious.

In 1979, a group of women sharing a passion for international music, dance, and women’s issues formed the global music ensemble Libana. Inspired by Judy Chicago’s groundbreaking exhibit “The Dinner Party,” Libana took their name from a woman honored by the artist—a 10th century Moorish poet, philosopher, and musician—symbolizing women’s creativity, vision and spirit throughout time.

LIBANA believes deeply in the power of song, the rhythm of the drum, and the spirit of dance to connect people across vast cultural difference. Creating a bridge of the heart, their commitment to the artistic expression of the global community has inspired dynamic cross-cultural understanding, profound healing, and widespread peacebuilding.

Information from here

And just because they are so brilliant Earth Wind and Fire with Serpentine Fire. From 1977

Happy Sunday everyone.

I guess that this was my first time listening to Wiccan music and it is nice. Earth Wind and Fire seems to have so much fun when they are singing. Great choices Willow.

I love the Wiccan song. Great for meditation and healing! Wonderful choice! Adding a little Earth, Wind & Fire takes you out of that trance and brings you back to the present. Excellent choices this week, Willow! 🙂

The Libana song is very soothing. I feel a calmness. And you can’t go wrong with anything Earth Wind and Fire. Great choices today!
