What day is it anyway Tuesday 14 April 2020

Why is Linda hosting this post.

She said.”Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.

Why am I writing this post ? Because it’s day ? since we have been told by Bossa to stay home and socially distance ourselves. We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.

So another day packed with the same things ….up sort Ruby, medicate her and feed her. Hubby and I took her out early that was a change. So after our walk I got stuck into housework hubby went shopping, this really worries me, he won’t let me go shopping as he wants to protect me. But I really want to help too, sometimes all this just makes me feel useless and without worth. Yesterday was very bad because I felt so worthless.

Hubby came home with the shopping, he had got our shopping, our son’s shopping, ( he is at risk) and a couple of bits for our neighbour. He had done a great job but I noticed that some of the use by dates were only a couple of days.. mainly on the veg.

I was stressed by this at first but then I thought what the hell , I sorted them out and blanched and then froze those that were really near to expiring. Then I moved everything in the freezer round so that I could get all the milk in. Hey just think laterally.

After a light lunch we packed up our lads shopping and drove it over to his place. We took Ruby with us too so we could sneak her in a extra walk!

We picked up the washing he had left on his doorstep, his washing machine has broken down! Typical Covid!

Got his washing out on the line, cooked dinner, shepherds pie and fried Brussel Sprouts it was delicious.

We had news about mother in law, it was good but as we would find out the next morning not at all acurate.

Time to end this mindless rant. Let’s have a happy song , because I am not feeling brave let’s have a song about being brave 💜

Be brave💜
Be safe💜
