What Day is it Anyway. Thursday 9th April

Why is Linda hosting this post.

She said.”Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.

Why am I writing this post ? Because it’s day ? since we have been told by Bossa to stay home and socially distance ourselves. We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.

Self isolation choir

Self isolation can be difficult, it’s hard enough being on lock down but self isolation must be even harder. I am always amazed at the talent out there.

Up early, sorted Ruby, fed Hubby, cleaned up then took Ruby for her walk .

Home, cleaned bathrooms, hung out washing, did ironing. Made hubby a coffee. Had an hour and a half video call with my best friend and we sorted the world out, from Boris to Covid19 to shopping to Covid19.

Made lunch and a video to send to a friend in Australia, then we sat in the garden and hubby hacked away at the Clamatis .

We had a quiet afternoon, after dinner we skyped our friends from America where things are not good and they are also in lock down.

Then it was time to go out and cheer for our emergency services NHS and all our Keyworkers.

Well I did take a video but it will not upload to my blog but we were all out there and we made a lot of noise we get louder each week. We are so grateful. 💜💜

The earth keeps turning
Gia changes her seasons
Untouched by man’s time
She needs no rhyme or reason
She is patient with us all.

This week for Colleen’s Tuesday Tanka I chose to do a Tanka about Mother Nature and her timeless progress, despite our best efforts to ruin her.
