What Day is it Anyway? Wednesday, April 1st, 2020

Why is Linda hosting this post.

She said.”Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.

Why am I writing this post ? Because it’s day Seven since we have been told by Bossa to stay home and socially distance ourselves. We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.Immie in her Frou Frou days

Okay let’s skip the morning if anything is going to drive me mad it will be the mornings so monotonous. We took Ruby out for her walk.

Home I prepared some veg for the evening meal, then checked on my sisters and the lads. Chatted to friends via social media then took Ruby out again. A quiet day. I hope to sleep well tonight.

Happy Music Time.

Ruby and me.
Be safe out there

What Day is it Anyway…. A Day late. 31st March.

We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.

Yesterday started as every day, except hubby was very tired and slept in. I got the house cleaned, let Ruby out to do her business then fed and medicated her. Hubby got up and had his breakfast. He took Ruby for her walk on his own on his own because I had a Zoom meeting. The Pilates group I belong to got together and we have started having virtual lessons. Six to nine students to a lesson and our instructress. It was our first meeting and worked really well.

The rest of the day became rather stressful, phone calls calming friends who were feeling the stress of working from home, family being bored or worried. Oh! remember hubby drove a 25mile round trip to take his mother and brother a mask each ( she had to go and have her INR tested. Hubby had impressed on her and his brother that she had to wear the mask. She did not, no she said I did have it on my lap she told him. …Did his brother not even think to remind her…No, did they care that hubby drove all that way to deliver the masks (we could of used) his time, his health, his diesel and my nerves…. obviously not. I am saying no more we are both upset that she was put in danger.

Then I decided to organise my medication, which though not due yet is important. That took longer than usual.

Anyway it was not a relaxing afternoon or evening but we survived!

Be safe out thete.

The Escapist Colouring Club 1st April 2020

Its the first of April and here is March’s colouring. My entry for the Escapist Colouring Club. Boy do we ever need this Escapist club right now. Below is the raw page before I started.

Above the finished version, done in a mixture of pastels.

Here is my task for this month a whimsical moon.

I am really looking forward to to seeing everyone else’s efforts.

One-Liner Wednesday, April 1st, 2020 – Signs of Life

Badge by Laura

I was half watching the news just now, they were talking about people trying to get home from holidays abroad. A young couple , she a Dr and he a trauma surgeon, were saying they were desperate to get home to help. I asked hubby why can’t they volunteer to help out in Australia… Hubby, sighed and replied because they are in South Africa .. .. God help me …is there any hope for me 🙄😖😜💜💜

Bit long for a one liner but it might make you smile.
