Our Lovely Hugh has invited us to spread some joy, he said:
“Have you seen any videos of people doing the same thing as the Marsh family by creating something that has got people laughing? Share it with us in the comments section or by creating a new blog post, linking back to this post. Click here to find out how to create a pingback.”
Well here is my favourite of the moment, great song and very clever information which is really helpful too!
There are loads out there so do get searching and sharing.

We have a wonderful community here on WordPress, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.
Why am I writing this post ? Because it’s day Seven since we have been told by Bossa to stay home and socially distance ourselves. We are all in different circumstances and yet we are all in the same boat.
Well what day is it anyway…its Monday. Up later, hubby did the Ruby duties. I had coffee while hubby had breakfast, I felt rough! It passed! We took Ruby for her walk.
Note my own self cut hair 😜
Hi, fed Ruby, cleaned up then had a video call with my friend who lives just up the road, it was such fun as there was her, her grown up daughter and son and her mum..other people we all had a virtual party 😜
We had lunch , then we had to organise an one hundreth birthday greeting from the Queen for hubby’s Mum. She will be one hundred on May the first. We did have a afternoon tea organised for her but we have had to cancel that.
Then I rang my sister in law while hubby drove a twenty four mile round trip to take his mum a face mask. He found out while on the phone to her that she has to have her RNI blood test tomorrow. Hubby’s brother is staying with her and will take her to have the test. So he has driven over to leave them a mask each , hopefully to protect her. It’s silly but I am worrying about him.
This evening I am cooking fish and chips. Time for a happy and inspiring song.

How did your day start! Mine started the same as every day since lock down! I stripped the bed and changed it, put the washing on, we then walked Ruby.
When I got home the washing was done so I hung it out, it was incredibly windy and the duvet cover flew off the washing line, unfortunately the washing line is on the part of the garden that Ruby uses as a toilet… Hence I needed to wash the duvet again! Long story short I got two lines of washing out !
Welcome to Di from pensitivy101: The Three Things Challenge. #188 Every day she’ll give you three things that will hopefully trigger your creativity. You don’t have to use them all if you don’t want to, simply read the prompt and see what comes to mind. Today’s Three Things are VIOLIN, WIRE, HANDLE
Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
The twins were identical to look at. Tempramentally though they were chalk and cheese. Their parents had a real job on their hands, they were a nightmare to handle.
When the girls got to seven years they both showed a great interest in music. They were each bought a violin, they learnt to play and were both exstremely talented. Music was the only thing the the girls could agree about and even that could become competitive!
They became professionals when they grew up they always played together. The only way to tell them apart was the violins, Vanessa’s violin was acoustic and May’s was electric and so had a wire!
This week Jim Adams our gallant host has given us the prompt :March 29, 2020 – Touch/Feel, for Song Lyric Sunday.
Isn’t it ironic as Alanis Morissette would say we have the prompt Touch/Feel in the middle of all this social distancing. Anyway sending love and virtual hugs to everyone out there wherever you are.
I have chosen a song written by Imogen Heap. It’s called Entanglement. She wrote the song about her and her partner Michael Lebor. He is a film director and he directed and is in the video with Imogen. I absolutely love this song combined with the video I find it magical. The video was film at Imogen’s house.
Imogen Jennifer Heap (/born 9 December 1977) is an English singer-songwriter, record producer and audio engineer. Born in the London Borough of Havering, Heap became classically trained in piano, cello and clarinet at a young age. She began writing songs at the age of 13 and, while attending boarding school, taught herself both guitar and drums, as well as music production on Atari computers. Heap signed to independent record label Almo Sounds at the age of 18 and later began working with experimental pop band Acacia, alongside Guy Sigsworth, as a frequent guest vocalist. A micro utopia born As the overture plays This prelude to life long love Our bodies’ entanglement take You all over me Me all over you
Fearless heart I’m going to take care of you Whether spark or spiral I’ll pull the strength of suns
It’s home where you hold me So show me no mercy On islands of cotton Taboos get forgotten Our body entanglement wants You all over me Me all over you
Burst me into bloom I dare you to Lose yourself in our embodiment Ravage this palate of pinks and reds Dissolve into radiance
It’s home where you hold me So show me no mercy On islands of cotton Taboos get forgotten Our body entanglement wants You all over me Me all over you.

So today started as all days start, feeling sick, let Ruby out, yada yada yada Ground Hog Day.
I was determined to keep it quiet and relax today. No shops, no help runs , no stress.
We walked Ruby and that was good, no stress in the wood. Home and spent an hour chatting to be neighbours through the window, they stood on the middle of our lawn! I WhatsApped family and friends making sure everyone is fine. Then I had a lovely surprise when a blogger friend facetimed me.
Then I prepared a stew, finally I prepared dinner . So I did have a quiet day but I am still exhausted!
LindaGHill said : Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “beside you.” Write about whatever is beside you when you read this prompt. Not when you sit down to write, but whatever is beside you right now. Take note of it if you think you might forget. Enjoy!
So here we are Stream of Consciousness Saturday. Now when I first looked at the prompt yesterday I was sitting next to the coffee table, and on it there were a myriad of things. A glass bowl, a bouquet of flowers, place mats from Spain, coffee cup, a box of tissues and the phone.
It is a beautiful table, hand made in Scandinavia, it has a beautiful lustre to it. We have had this table for sixteen years, yet to my eyes it looks brand new.

Last night we went out and joined with our neighbours to clap for our NHS and all Keyworkers. It was so moving that I could not video my street as I was so emotional so here is the news footage.
Thank You NHS
Today is another sunny day, the last for a while we are informed. The day started as ever, so we could skip that now except to say I couldn’t sleep so abandoned bed before six A.M. Leaving Hubby to sleep. Ruby was pleased to see me and we braved the early frost and wind.
The older lads got intouch early and they are okay, though we do have drive around to our middle sons place to leave some medicine on his door step. He is in the at risk catagory, having, stomach lung problems. At least we can wave to him from a distance.
I am feeling a little depressed and stressed I am feeling scared. But I must not dwell on this.
Keep calm.
Well it’s been another busy day a friend got in touch and asked if we were going shopping. We said no because we found it too stressful, she said she needed milk and bread, it was easier to take her some of our milk and bread, than think of her without. We have done this twice this week, she needs to bite the bullet and go and stock up! We have to!
Our middle lad is still unwell, he lives about seven miles from us. So we took him round some paracetamol, throat Lozenges and cough medicine. We left it on his doorstep and he waved to us from his window.
We also had to stop off on the way back because the blind couple wanted some rail tickets sorted for a refund. We did suggest that they wait until after this crisis is all over, but no they wanted the process started. I did point out that this was not urgent business…… We are in the throws of sorting it, or trying to now. It looks like our printer has run out of ink!
Stay calm. Notice my Bitmoji has had a hair cut like me.
Looks hubby has sorted the printer, refund request in the post!!!! We are hunkering down now. So far we are managing to keep away from everyone but the strain of running around after everyone is tiring us out.
I am off to cook dinner now and have a large glass of wine😜. I did not mean this to be a moaning post really I shall buck up by tomorrow.
Sadly we are on the upward curve 181 died today, we all need to stay in as the infections and deaths are doubling every three days at the moment.

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Duck shouted Desmond, as the fists started to fly, tables and chairs were pushed out of the way as the brawl took hold.
The police were quickly on the scene and waded in slowly restoring order.
Meanwhile across the road in the bank , Desmond’s brothers casually made off with the bootee.
