This week’s prompt for #writephoto ~ Storm
For visually challenged writers, the image shows stormy sky above a ruined tower, perched above earthen banks and ditches.

Calador took Lisa in to his arms and smiled down at her. She looked tired and small but no a day older than when they had met fifteen long hard years ago. Her eyes, that deep blue, indicative of witches showed the pain those years of war had taken on her soul.
Hope was ahead of them now striding up the hill towards what was left of Ewan’s Castle and the deep trenches that had been used to deter the hosts of Vampires. “Come on you two” she called, “there’s a storm closing in and I for one could do without getting soaked again” Calador laughed and shouted back, “It might be cold but the sky is clear no sign of a storm!” Hope laughed loudly. Lisa smiled and hugged Calador, “Come on , you know she is always right she can feel the weather, see the future, past and present” she said braking free from Calador’s hold and heading up hill.
As they reached the top of the hill and crossed the earthworks the skies darkened and the first drops if rain began to fall.
As they entered the Mott, all that was left of the castle the warmth greeted them. The fire in the kitchen filled the whole place with heat and the smell of stew cooking. Leona was there Hope threw her arms around her, she had great affection for this woman who had helped raise her. Who had kept her hidden in plain sight within her own large brood.
As Calador and Lisa walked towards the Great hall Ewan came out to meet them. He greeted them both warmly.”It is very fortuitous that you have all visited today. Alicia and the witches council have asked me to bring you here tonight.” He added, ” I fear there is a storm brewing! ”

I’m not a werewolf story fan but this sounds good! Wonder what will happen next?

Well as I rely on Sue’s prompts I am as much in the dark as you. This story has been going on for about two years now. It is all in one place incase I decided to do something with it. So far it’s been about before the war, the war and after the war. Thus is the new part fifteen years after the was 💜

Wow, that sounds awesome to be working on it for two years and you are still writing. Shows how a prompt can keep your brain working. I’ve written many pieces on my experiences in South Africa and now in New Zealand. I’m busy sorting them out for my memoirs. I started the writing in 2012 and am still going to the writing sessions on a Friday. Just to get words to write about and also to read the story to the group.

I’m busy with my Primary and High school years. Still editing it but I’m getting there. I’ve published my first little book on my first six years. Mostly about us moving to South Africa and the first year in SA.
