Colleen’s 2020 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 164 #SynonymsOnly

This week Colleen has given us the words Love and Harmony, to use synonymously.

Today I struggling with love and harmony, I think it may of coloured my Tanka.

What good is devotion

When it causes termoil.

Discord, reins supreme

Agony pulls the heart strings

No tranquil, coexistence

This is a good take on the prompt words. Opposites are effective when discussing love and harmony. Hope it all works out, Sis. ❤

Nicely written, Willow. Understood how things are not always harmonious!
Reading all comments – you’re right about worrying about our adult kids. (My surviving son just turned 49. And I’m paranoid about something happening to him. Have learned we can never take anything for granted.)
Hope you’re doing well otherwise. 💗💗💗

No, you are so right and sometimes it’s so silly and pointless of us to do so as we can’t change anything or live their lives for them. We end up making ourselves sick worrying while they bounce back. I am okay dear friend how are you 💜
