The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Feb. 8/2020

It’s Saturday and so it’s time for #SoCs and this week LindaGHill said :Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “(un)pack.” Use “pack” or its opposite in your post. Have fun!

Unpack my heavy baggage relieve me

Of my pain, I am screaming inside

My brain, packed with thoughts, slain, set me free

Running in circles nowhere to hide.

Arrrrrrrrrgh! Pain

Unpack me set me free again.

I feel the pain in your words. I wish I could pack the pain in a backpack for a while.

Interesting use of the word pack! Indeed we all need to unpack painful things from our minds.
