The Friday Reminder for #SoCS & #JusJoJan 2020 Daily Prompt – Jan. 25th

Welcome to the Daily 2020 Just Jot it January Prompt and the Stream of Consciousness Saturday prompt for SATURDAY, JANUARY 25TH! This is the last combination SoCS/JusJoJan prompt for the year. Time flies, eh?

Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “last call.” Talk about the enterprise (sales or service) conducted by the last phone call you received from a business you’re not associated with (i.e. your workplace), or talk about that phone conversation itself. Have fun!

The last call I received from a business was a nuisance call. I was floundering around minus my glasses when my mobile rang.

I was expecting a call from my middle son son so I answered blind! I soon spotted my mistake!

“Hello is that Mrs Willers this is blur of blur blur… Darn it, I thought, this is an “You’ve had an accident ” call. Deep breath from me , she sails on into her script. “According to our records you had an accident that was not your fault.”

Summoning my wits I quickly replied, “No, no I haven’t, thank you for calling, Goodbye. “

I was feeling good as I cut the call on to her, just as she said, “Sorry we will remove you….” I didn’t wait to her sentence end. But felt guilty for cutting her off. We get so many, of these cold calls and each time I block one another pops up!

No very exciting or funny but this is SoCs and I have followed the rules💜
