Hi here we are the second Colleen’s Tuesday Tanka Challenge of 2020.

Today’s prompt is Calm and Present. The trick is we can only use synonyms . This week I have done an old style Haiku.๐

All still and pleasant
My mind is empty, peaceful
Time stops in the now.

Well done, Willow. I’ll rework your Haiku in the shorter form 3/5/3 here:
Silence stills
busy thoughts quiet
in the now
(silence for calm, and in the now for present). The brevity and simple words also make this a powerful Haiku. Don’t be afraid to experiment. We’re all friends and learning together. โค
