Thursday photo prompt: Presence #writephoto

For visually challenged writers, the image shows an old photograph of a pathway lined with standing stones leading through a flower-filled meadow.

Ancient Pressence

Do you dream in sepia do you feel the light

Do the ghosts of history visit you at night?

Is there more than we can understand

As the past and present unite joining hands.

Feel the pressence of those who went before

Spirits of the old ones knocking on your door.

Are you open to the truth they bring.

Will you dream in sepia or set. your soul to soar upon the wing.

This is part of Sue Vincent #writephoto.

Love the idea of dreaming in sepia. Funny how we see the old world in sepia or black and white thanks to those old photos and early films, forgetting it was just as colourful then as it is now!

I have always dreamed in colour,,, but old photos do seem to have a dreamlike quality. Lovely poem, Willow xx

I like where you went with this. It makes you think. As a big Wizard of Oz fan, the opening was done in a sepia tone before Dorothy opens the door to a technicolor world. Makes you think.
