It’s the last day of Just Jot it January 2020! Where has the month gone? Our final prompt comes from Robbie Ann who has nothing on her blog, so I won’t link to it. Thanks anyway, Robbie Ann!

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 31st, 2020, is “chaos.” Use the word “chaos” any way you’d like. Have fun!

For my last offering for Jusjojan I am going to do another Acrostic Poem. I want to say thank you to Linda for hosting this brilliant post again. Also thank you to everyone who gave us a prompt this year and of course everyone who took part.

Careering through the day

Hapless like a child at play

Aimlessly losing the order of things

Openly bouncing off the walls

Sending everything scattering as it falls.

Family Tombstone

I saw this on Rhymswithbug’s page and decided to join in.

Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Wednesday #11 family tombstone

Here is the haiku to work with:

And now it’s up to you to create a Tan Renga with this haiku by adding your two-lined stanza. Enjoy the challenge.

Here are my two lines.

That’s all no more to discuss.

Thursday photo prompt: Daybreak #writephoto

For visually challenged writers, the image shows a morning sky aflame above dark landscape, whose horizon is marked only by trees

Daybreak

Woosh! She swirls her skirts around

Orange, gold, grey and blue

Silently, she wakes the day, without a sound.

She crayons the trees in black, anew

Bidding farewell to the night

Gently she drops dew, the land to nourish

Waving off the early bird in flight

She wakes the Sun so we can flourish.

Finished, I have had enough

I can take no more of your stuff

No, finally I have eyes to see

Isolated and lost, a shadow of me.

So I am going to make a stand

Have I shocked you? That’s grand!

Ever I’ve been at your beck and call.

Done, we are finished that’s all!

Challenge Badge

It’s the fourth week of the month which means I’ll pick a theme for you to write about for this month. On the Monday before the next challenge, I’ll select someone to choose next month’s theme.

This month’s theme is: “The Circle of Life”

I have done two sets of Haiku. In syllables of, 5/7/5, 3/5/3 and 2/3/2. One set on human life and the other set on nature.

Our prompt for JusJoJan January 28th, 2020, is “television.” Use the word “television” any way you’d like. Enjoy!

Now we had the same prompt last year for Television, it fell on Saturday 19th January so was also a Stream of Consciousness Saturday. I have included the poem I did then an Acrostic poem entitled Tele vision. But first I will do a new poem for today.

Television

No need to leave your room

Feet and hands will be redundant soon

Life, the whole world is brought to you

Stories coming at you, make you happy make you blue

You’re no longer out feeling what you’ve seen

Because you’ve been sucked inside your Television screen.

*******

Now here is last year’s.

Tele vision

To see afar

Everything from sea to star

Logie Baird had a dream

Everyone would watch a screen

Voyeurisum gone mad

Is that really so bad

So we graduated from Radio

Into dreams of vision flow

Only to drown in information

No limits, seeing all destination.

Daily Prompt – JusJoJan the 26th, 2020. Busy.

It’s Sunday, and time for your 26th prompt for Just Jot it January 2020. Today’s prompt comes to us compliments of Saumya. Thank you so much, Saumya! Please be sure to visit her blog to read her post and say hello. And follow her while you’re there!

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 26th, 2020, is “busy.” Use the word “busy” any way you’d like. Enjoy!

Mother in law last year on her 99th Birthday.

Today is Sunday and every Sunday we have mother in law over for the day and cook her a dinner or take her out to lunch at a pub.

Today we are cooking so I am busy. We also had to pop over to her house yesterday to sort out her phone…which when we arrived the phone was miraculously okay. Hey it’s only a 24 mile round trip. Today hubby will be busy driving 48miles on the four trips to and throw.

It keeps him busy, it keeps me and it keeps her busy too, as she likes to go out. Did I mention she is 100yrs old this year. We are busy arranging a big 100th Birthday Tea Party for her at a local Afternoon Tea Venue.

Anyway she doesn’t like it if I get my phone out when she is here , she likes to keep me busy giving all my attention to her! 😁

So I have to go now and check the dinner 💜 Have a good day and keep busy.
