Mary and Jo part 12

Today is the twelfth day of Advent, leading up to Christmas. I would like to re-run my take on the Nativity story. I first wrote this in 2011, in the style of prosetry.

The three young men from magi.com had stopped off at the duty free earlier that day. Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were the gifts they had decided to bring with them. After a long discussion the decided gold was a gift fit for a king. Frankincense also a worthy gift to take to him.
Myrrh also, a bitter perfume, the present may seem full of gloom but this young babe is going to make our world bloom.
These gifts they bare are to show this new king that they are aware. The future holds nothing but pain until he is reunited with his father again.
“Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding dying then closed in a stone cold tomb. The span of human life is over so soon. Mused, Melchior “His mothers heart will bleed she has sown a bitter seed” said Balthasar. “Yet we must celebrate his birth for he comes to save all of us on earth” replied Gaspar.
These three kings from the orient are tired they have travelled so far following the star. Their limousine pulled up outside their hotel, who’s for a drink guys asked Gaspar I need to get that creep Herod out of my head!
