One – Liner Wednesday

Blindly we stumble
Routelessly wobbling on the
Edge of the abyss
Xanthins run down our spines
In part we are also to blame
They are in power because of us.

    The social media are full of anti-Tory stuff. Not a peep out of the Cons. I’m assuming it’s because they are so sure they’ve won.

        WP told me it couldn’t post this reply. It was lying 🙂 I don’t think anyone in the Labour party is a Communist. Corbin is certainly Old Labour but they were never Communists either. The Tory party is full of white true British anti-Semites, (anti-Irish and anti-Black too come to that) always has been. The Labour variety I think are Muslims. They hate Jews and the Labour party wants their votes, and just like they have always bowed to the trade unions’ misogyny they accept the same bigotry from the Muslims. In the end, they all play to a particular audience, but what I will never understand is what ordinary and poor Brits think they have in common with Eton-educated, silver spoon in the mouth, upper class heartless self-serving arse holes like the Tory leadership.

        To the Labour is nothing like the the Labour Party that my Dad worked so hard for. Corbin is bad news the Torys are equally bad and sadly it’s pointless voting for Libdem so who ever wins we will suffer .

        No, it has changed. When my mum was a campaigner I remember her tackling the Pakistani men who turned up to Labour party rallies and asking them why their wives weren’t there. They just grinned and made polite noises, but their wives were never allowed out of the house. The labour party knew that but still kow-towed to their right to their ‘traditions’ to get their votes and because women’s rights have never been high on their agenda.

    REFLECTIONS ON GOVERNMENT

    From simple language much may be inferred;
    America’s lust for pleasure and commotion
    Like Britain’s anal culture, I’ve a notion,
    Reveals itself within the very word
    Used when our nations’ rulers have concurred.
    Whilst here the House is said to “pass a motion”
    The other side of the Atlantic Ocean
    “An act of congress” is the term preferred.
    But though such speculation may be fun
    The world goes on as it has always done;
    It’s true: “A rose by any other name
    Would smell as sweet” and so we must conclude
    That whether we get shat on or get screwed
    The end result is pretty much the same.

    It’s hard to make sense of what’s happening, isn’t it? I hope common sense makes a revival…

    Alas, we’re countries divided on both sides of the ocean. Not just a coincidence… Heaven help us all. We must somehow stick together in spirit against outside forces who would love to see us all fall apart. Joining hands with you in somehow rising above and weathering our respective storms.

        I’m doing ok, thanks for asking. Just chronically exhausted. Not really ready for Christmas. Planning a quiet one here. Looking forward to the Winter Solstice!
        How about you? Hope you’re doing well! ❤️❤️❤️

        Hi Betty so glad to hear that you are okay but not so good that you are exhausted. Do take it easy and conserve some energy for Christmas. We are not planning too much either hoping to see family and friends. Winter solstice will be welcome as it marks the uphill climb to spring 🤣💜 consider it our goal . Take care 💜💜💜
