Lighten Up.

Tell me what am I to do
I am such a Klutz it's true.
Each time I open my mouth
Everything starts flying south.
Discretion is the better part of Valor
My discrete brings on an angry parlor!
Just what am I to do to keep on track
And escape the extra flack.
Tell me what am I to say
To make the anger clouds go away?
I am such a thorn in your side
That our temperaments just collide?
I can only try to do my best
I'm not always the naughty pest.
Maybe you should lighten up a tad
Then maybe I would not make you so mad!

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Nov. 30/19. Shades.

It’s Friday again and time for our #SoCs prompt from LindaGHill. She said: ” Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “shade.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!”

Shelley krupa

Shade, she craved it longed for it and needed it. The pain in her eyes she hid with sunshades, the pain in her body, like a thousand blades she hid in alcohol. Her life was now a thousand shades of grief. At night she hid behind a book under the lampshade never wanting to share her bitterness she shaded her feelings.
