Under the weather and under the Duvet.

Feeling under the weather.

I have had an unhappy tummy for over a week now but after a fitful night of bad dreams I awoke to a whole new level of pain. I was in bathroom for an age and not happy to be there. Unfortunately it did not help my stomach pain at all. So here I am in bed with a sore stomach and back.

Now life is not satisfied with throwing a painful tummy at me, one where I can’t stand up ! But I was supposed to be having A day out with my best friend and I was really looking forward to seeing her.

Hey ho no point in moaning….. well maybe a little.

There’s always a point in moaning when it’s justified otherwise nobody notices the effort you make to be cheerful. Get well soon πŸ™‚

I hope you feel better soon. Sorry you had to miss your planned day out. I would be moaning about that as well.

It seems wrong to β€œLike” this so I’ll send condolences instead. Are you going to check out the cause of the pain and malfunction?

You probably need rest more than anything. Plus lots and lots of fluids. Hope you feel better in a day or so; if not, go see your doctor. Hugs, Willow.

Hi Dear Willow, If this persists, get to Urgent Care quickly. Symptoms like this can mean more than just a passing bug. Better not to take a chance. Urgent Care is not so bad, and they can take care of it quickly. I for sure don’t want you to develop anything more serious, so please go and get checked. At the very least, you will get medicine to help you sleep and eliminate the pain. Love and hugs for your wellness quickly, Anne always

For that I am very happy. Let us know when you get home. Severe pain is never anything to mess with. My paraplegic friend, Barbara Williamson, one of the artists I wrote about in my other book, Artful Alchemy: Physically Challenged fiber Artists Creating got terrible pains in her stomach and it turned out to be a burst artery in her stomach region. That happened the same year I got PTSD from being assaulted and severely bullied (a long story that I may share someday), and that is when we had to close the nonprofit. So now I always take these things very seriously, perhaps more than I need to, but I do worry about other people I care about, and there is scarcely anyone who doesn’t fit that category. Hugs and good health, Anne
