It’s been a while, and for that, I apologise, my dear readers.

I haven’t been wallowing in a puddle of misery because I got another rejection.

Nothing like that. Unfortunately it has been my health that has held me back from progessing further.

You see, I made a decision to become an Indie Author, and self publish my baby!

And, in order to self publish, there are a few things that need to be done.

• Finish editing my book – so close, I am just in the throes of discovering my crutch words… cringe-worthy!
• Sending it to my editor for that final look over
• Formatting the text for paperback as well as e-book
• Writing the blurb
• Writing acknowledgements, etc. for inside the book
• Setting a publication date
• Designing a cover

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Nov. 16/19

It time for Stream of Consciousness Saturday and I am late this week! Our lovely host Linda G Hill said : “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “dream.” Use it as a noun or a verb; use any way you’d like. Enjoy!“

Strangely as it happens I had a really bad night last night full of very uncomfortable dreams. All the time I was plagued with an awful headache. Well the headache turned out to be real I still have it now, half way through my day.

Back to my dreams which were interspersed with me waking and lying there wondering what was going on and why does my head hurt so much. So in these dreams I was traveling but getting nowhere, I was delayed and even aggressively held back at points. To make matters worse there were bloggers I know in these dreams and they were telling me that the event I was traveling too had been cancelled. This really caused me great distress.

So here I am coping with a very busy day and an unwell dog feeling very uneasy and battling with a massive headache.

Enough moaning you don’t come here to read moans! I can’t change what I have written as this is SoCs so let’s through together a little poem on the dream.

Dreams can be scary
 Mad and hairy
They can be lucid
Or even fridged
Dream can arouse and please
Or they can disquiet and tease
 They should be gone by first light
They should be the order of the night
So why is it my present plight
To be haunted by night frights
