Knife Crime.

There is blood on the floor

It trails in through the door

The Nurses are tired

Surgeons sick to the core.

Another young life

Cut short by a knife

Never to mature

Or have a child or a wife.

At least one everyday

Just statistics they say

As young as ten

Injured or worse life taken away.

Gangs growing feral

Young kids leave home at their peril

No matter your age

No one is safe from knife rage.

A very realistic post and so terrifying at the same time. It’s sad that even during the day most people are forever looking over their shoulder x 💜

I fear for the young , but they are not exclusively affected. I just cannot understand why things are getting so bad. It’s like the world is falling apart! 💜

I know what you mean. I just can’t believe how much the world is changing and unfortunately not for the better. I fear for the future of our decent younger generation 💜

Guns or knives. So many young lives lost.
    Powerful piece of writing.
    This violent world is terrifying.
Oh, if we truly could “give peace a chance.”

Maybe society has always been violent, but there seems to be a lot of it these days.
