The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Oct. 5/19

Me, constant secret companion

Ever growing, spreading within

Taking over like a black plague

Adhering to your soft cells

Seeping through all organs

Ticking bomb like

Always there

This is my entry for LindaGHill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday. Our prompt this week is “-tast-.” Find a word that contains “tast” and use it in your post. Enjoy!

This week I have chosen to write a nonet.

Your word choices in responding to the prompt with a nonet are fantastic and scary at the same time!

Such a scary topic but somehow reading those words makes it less so. Makes me thinking of fighting. Like my buddy Dave who kicked cancer’s ass.

Well done, Willow. I hope this is just word play.

I love the way you made something so scary seem almost comforting. The contrast is stunningly brilliant! You have such a way with words, my friend. ❤

Well done on a difficult topic that is all too real for so many of us – whether it touched our lives directly or indirectly, through people we love and who passed or are dealing with cancer now. May there be support to all,
