This week Jim Adams at Newepiauthor has set us the prompt of Trains for our Song Lyric Sunday.
So I have chose Mathew and Son by the then Cat Stevens. It a brilliant song about life and it’s treadmill. It mentions the 8.30 train so I think it fits the bill.
Cat Stevens now known as Yusuf Islam.
And if the link is a little tenuous here is the last train to Clarksville by the Monkeys. Oh! I loved the Monkeys.

Cat was real popular here today, thanks for sharing both of these songs. Someone, I think it was Mel said something about the Monkeys, but never came back with that.
