Colleen’s 2019 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 145 #PhotoPrompt

This week we are using a photo chosen by last month’s “Photo-Prompt” Poet of the Week Jane Dougherty.

I have gone for the obvious Climate change. I have written an Etheree for Colleen’s Tuesday Tanka Challenge.

The Ending.

All said

It would not

Happen, yet all

The waters are rising

All the birds are leaving home

Temperatures are higher now.

Than they have ever been, water boils.

Gia, head bent succumbs to climate change.

Jane Dougherty and Colleen came up with a fun idea. Whoever is chosen as the Photo-Prompt Poet of the Week will choose the photo for the next month’s photo-prompt challenge.

You can use Pixabay or any other creative commons photos – just give attribution to the photographer. If you would like to use your own photos, just let me know that. Please email the photo NLT 3 days before the next month’s photo challenge.

Yes, it’s sad! People will only realize the danger when it is too late.

I wonder if the artist imagined she would be provoking this kind of thoughts when she created those dreamy trees and skies?

Or perhaps a new beginning, without us?

I looked at this photo and that was my first immediate response – climate change. Maybe it’s because of the news. Nevertheless, you did an excellent job, Willow. ❤

Sadly accurate. We will soon be drowning in Gaia’s tears, if we don’t turn things around quickly. 💔🌍🌎🌏

sad, accurate, but Gia, chronically ill though she is will fight on until the last, so I will too, as best I can, as I know you will!
